My Knowledge Concerning the Local Church

I have believed in the Lord since I was ten years old. I am almost fifty years old now. Thank the Lord that I have lived in a local church--it has helped me realize day by day that God is faithful and unchanging. We human beings are limited and weak, and not able to survive apart from God. A normal Christian life to me is a life of praying, reading the Bible, and praising God. I found that I not able to do this, as my natural inclination toward laziness. However, the mutual fellowship and intercession between the brothers and sisters in the local church preserves me in this kind of living.

In the local church, I am willing to take the Lord as my way according to the Bible for He says, “I am the way, the reality, and the life” (John 14:6). However, this does not mean that I have attained, but rather that I forget what's behind and stretch forward toward the goal (Philippians 3:12-14). I have failures and weaknesses, but I also have support in love. There are many brothers and sisters in the local church who love the Lord out of a pure heart who are always interceding for the believers. This is my pattern.
